Howdy!! We know there are lots of questions you may have about the upcoming Memory Round Up Crop. We taken the most asked questions and added them here. If we have missed any please email us at info@kisscropnshop.com.
Crop -
1. How do I let you know who I want to sit with? Either add your friends names to the comment section when checking out or simply send us an email.
2. May I bring my Cricut or other electronic device? Yes, you may however you must bring a heavy duty extension cord as well as a power strip. We also ask that you limit machines to one per group. Everyone can then bring their own mats and cartridges and use the same machine saving your group room on your table.
3. May I bring an extra table? No, at this event we will have long tables for everyone so there will be no need for extra tables.
4. Are meals included with my crop fee? Not at this event. We’ve lowered your crop fee so that you may choose from the numerous resturants in the area for your dining needs. Outside food is not permitted so please no delivery orders. You may bring in your non-alcholic drinks as long as they are in cups with lids.
5. What are Blue Lights? The most awesome deals we can find for you on cool product!! We will do a minimum of 3 Blue Lights per day.
6. When will you be doing the games/contests and Blue Lights? We know you don’t want to miss out on any of the fun and while we try to make sure everyone has a chance to participate it’s simply impossible to do with everyone coming and going. We will be hosting all of the Blue Lights after 6:00pm on Friday and after 5:00 on Saturday in hopes that more will be able to participate.
7. May my friends purchase Blue Lights/play games for me? Each cropper is allowed a certain number of Blue Lights until everyone has gotten some. We then allow you to purchase any extras as you like. Your friends may pick you up some Blue Lights but it will count as their total until the all clear for the extras is called.
8. What if my name is drawn for a prize while I’m gone? Easy!! Your name goes back in until you win! Everyone wins at K.I.S.S. Events!
9. Will food/drinks be available on-site? Yes, there will be a concession area opened offering reasonably prices drinks and snacks.
10. I’ve purchased a crop ticket and am now unable to attend, may I get a refund? We are unable to issue refunds however you are welcome to sell your ticket to another cropper, please just let us know of the name change. If you need assistance selling your seat feel free to contact us. There is usually a waiting list and we can help fill your seat.
10. My friends and I are a little crazy. WELCOME! The crazier the better!! We have an awesome talent show that is presented on Saturday night. You and up to three other friends are welcome to show off your talents and just how crazy you are. Awesome prizes are awarded to each member (up to 4) for first, second and third place.
11. I want to dress up, are there prizes for the best cowgirl outfit? We have so many prizes that you better bring your buggy to pull them all home!! While we don’t give out prizes for costumes we do encourage you to get in the spirit of the event as you just never know what we might have up our sleeves!!
12. I’m coming from out of town, where is the best place to stay? We have secured an incredible room rate with the Holiday Inn. You can read the details on the home page of the webiste. Rooms are only being held until October 5th at this rate so book now!! There are also about a dozen hotels within just a few blocks of the convention center that you may choose from.
Classes -
1. Where are the classes located? All classes are held in the Holiday Inn Hotel, adjacent to the convention center.
2. I want to take two classes but the times overlap, what can I do? That’s easy!! Buy a class ticket for the classes you would like and simply stop by the class before or after the scheduled time and pick up your kit. Class kits will have instructions and materials needed to complete your project. If you have questions about any classes you may not be able to complete on your own, please contact us prior to purchasing a class ticket.
3. I’ve purchased a class ticket and am unable to attend, may I get a refund. Sorry, we are unable to issue refunds however you may pick up your class ticket of if you notify us in advance we will pick up your class kits and mail them for a flat fee of $4.95.
4. I want to take a class but I don’t like having to work elbow to elbow. No worries, we give you plenty of space to work! We limit all of our classes to 30 students or less to maximize your work space.
5. I’ve never taken a class before. Great, we love newbies! Just be sure to look for classes that offer beginner or all levels. We have fantastic teachers and of course the classes will come with instructions if you have troubles.
Shopping -
1. I’m looking forward to shopping, how many stores will be there? We have 10 stores for you to shop from and of course shopping is always FREE!
2. What are the shopping hours? Vendors are required to stay open from 10am -6pm on Friday and 10am -5pm on Saturday. Many will stay open later.
3. Can I do a tab with vendors or do I need to pay for each purchase? You will need to ask each vendor. Your name badge and a credit card WILL be required to set up a tab with any of our vendors that accept tabs.
4. What types of products will be there? You name it and it will be there! Looking for something? Email us and we’ll be sure to pass it along to one of our vendors!
Community Service Project -
1. I want to help, what can I do? Lots! We need Scrappin’ Angels to mail cards to our terminally ill children. We need card makers to make cards to mail. We need postage and envelopes. Heck we even take donations to assist with all the supplies.
2. I am making cards, what do I do with them? Count and bundle them in 25’s. Put them in a baggie and include your name. Bring finished cards to the Memory Round Up prior to 5:00pm on Saturday, November 14th. Winners of most made cards will be announced at the end of the crop on Saturday.
3. What is a Scrappin’ Angel? You will be assigned a child for a period of one year. You simply mail that child a provided card once monthly for a year. That’s it!!
4. Where do I bring my postage and envelopes? Bring them to the Memory Round Up Crop prior to 5:00, Saturday.
5. Do I win anything for being a Scrappin’ Angel or donating supplies? Sorry, at this time we offer 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes to those that donate handmade cards. We feel the blessings you are going to get from being a Scrappin’ Angel and helping far out weigh any gift we could offer you!
Extras -
1. I want a shirt, oh and a mug and I must have one of those bags! Can I buy them at the crop? We will only be doing pre-orders on these items so you will need to place an order online prior to October 25th. All orders can be picked up at the Memory Round Up.
2. Do you have any surprises for us? YOU BET!! I’ve got tons of surprises and special goodies for you! In fact, the Diamond Cut girls will be back to pamper us once again! Offering everything from foot detox to pedicures and much more all under $15.00 per service!! How’s that for some fun stuff?
